18 October 2015: the marathon Capri-Napoli loses its biggest star. Tonight Giulio Travaglio has died!

The first and only Italian winner of the competition, record holder of wins: 5 (1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1970), Honorary President since 2003, the year of the return of the competition, after the long break of 10 years.

In the year of the 50th edition, the competition lost a dear friend, a champion and protagonist of the world open water swimming, with its victories around the world between the mid 60s and 70s.

We will miss you so much! R.I.P.

13 October 2015: 10 km World Cup back with the ninth stage on the distance of 10 km, held at the weekend in Chun’an (CHN).

non FINA competition 2016

October 5, 2015: archived the 50th edition of the race, due the many requests already received, the O.C. begin to spell out initiatives for 2016 and, as for the past years, also promotes the creation of an unofficial competition reserved for agonists and master of the world.

The competition, divided into the categories SOLO, DOUBLE and RELAYS, is limited and will see a total of 51 participants accepted.

The competition will be made in early July 2016. The date will be defined in the coming weeks.

October 1, 2015: with the end of the historical photographic exhibition, at the Renaissance Hotel Mediterraneo, valuable partner in 2015, officially closed the 50th edition of the Capri-Napoli.

Definitely a fantastic edition, which began with the children in April, continued with many exciting moments that celebrated a historical edition and finished with the race official, that, as always, gave unforgettable emotions.
