The swimmers have arrived in Naples
31 August 2017: are coming to Naples swimmers entered the 52th edition of the Capri-Napoli, scheduled for Sunday, September 3 starting from Le Ondine Beach Club in Capri at 10.15 am and arrival from 4.30 / 4.45 pm to Circolo Nautico Posillipo in Naples, after a swim of 36 km.
29 swimmers, 17 men and 12 women from 8 Countries, who will contest the stage win and the FINA Grand Prix 2017.
Come, then, the winner of the previous 2 edition Evegnij Pop acev and Damian Blaum (ARG) and the two Italian swimmers Matteo Furlan, second at the world championships in Budapes (25 km) and Edoardo Stochino, winner of the 2016 FINA Grand Prix. While for women Pilar Geijo (ARG), winner in 2011 and 2016, as well as the current rankings leader FINA Grand Prix: Barbara Pozzobon (ITA), Martina Grimaldi (ITA and Alice Franco (ITA) and the winner at the world championships in Budapes (25 km) Ana Marcela Cunha (BRA).
Tomorrow day at Capri with the presentation of the event to the City of Capri.

Presented the 2017 edition
August 30, 2017: Presented this morning the 52 th edition of the Capri-Napoli. The conference was held at the Naples Municipality. At the speakers’ table, besides the Chairman of the Organizing Committee Luciano Cotena, also the Councillor for Sports of the City of Naples Ciro Borriello, President FIN Campania Paolo Trapanese, President CONI Campania Sergio Roncelli, the vice head coach of the Italian team Velerio Fusco.
Also present were some of the italian swimmers: Martina Grimaldi and Ilaria Raimondi.
They were then presented all the trophies to be won: men, women, best italian (Giulio Travaglio), best under 25.
It was then unveiled the starting list of the 2017, with so many big at the start. 29 athletes (17 men and 12 women) from 8 Countries.

August 29, 2017: Wednesday, August 30, at 11, will be presented to the Naples Municipality, the 52 th edition of the Capri-Napoli, valid as the final leg of the FINA Grand Prix world.
Conference will be revealed the news of this exciting edition and will be announced the athletes who will try to win the race and the FINA Grand Prix 2017.

August 27, 2017: After the brilliant experience of last years, is renewed, also for 2017, the partnership between the Capri-Naples marathon and TV Luna scheduled on next Sunday 3 September.
The broadcaster TV, official partner, will broadcast the important phases of the competition, while the last part of the competition, starting at approximately at 1:00 – 1.30 pm, will be live.

August 26, 2017: Back to the big swimming event: the 52th edition of the Capri-Napoli marathon, the race valid as the closing leg of the FINA Grand Prix (World Cup for distance of 15 km and over).
Curiosity, data and participants will be unveiled during the press conference scheduled on Wednesday, August 30 at 11 am at Naples Municipality.
3rd Leg 2017 FINA Grand Prix
August 19, 2017: third leg of the Grand Prix FINA 2017 with the traditional Ohrid marathon (MKD) over the distance of 30 km.

1 month left to the 52th edition
August 3, 2017: just one month left at the 52nd edition of Capri-Naples.
For this year too, the competition will be the final stage of the FINA Grand Prix. In Naples, therefore, as in the last editions, in addition to the race winners, we will also know the world champions of the Grand Prix 2017.
Today we also reveal the 2017 image that leverages the epic aspect of Capri-Naples, whit swimmers who are real gods of the sea who challenge the victory in the gulf.
In the coming days, all the initiatives planned in this edition will be revealed, but above all, the 30 athletes (17 men and 13 women) from 10 nations and 3 continents seeking to win the classic world marathon.
