September 28, 2016: closed the 51th edition of the race, given the many requests already received, the O.C. begins to outline the initiatives for 2017 and, as for the past years, also promotes the creation of an unofficial competition reserved for athletes and masters worldwide.

The competition, divided into the categories SOLO, DOUBLE and RELAYS, is limited and will see a total of 60 participants accepted on two different dates, the first in June and the second in July 2017. The dates will be defined in the coming weeks.

September 21, 2016: With the end of the photo exhibition dedicated to Giulio Travaglio, at the Renaissance Hotel Mediterraneo, valuable partners in 2016, it officially closes the 51st edition of the Capri-Napoli.

Surely another fantastic edition that began with the children in April, continued with wonderful moments that have celebrated an edition born in the name of our friend Giulio Travaglio and ended with the official race, which, as always, gave unforgettable emotions.

September 5, 2016: This morning was held the award ceremony of the 51 th edition of the Capri-Napoli made in the splendid Renaissance Hotel Mediterraneo Naples.

Here are all the winners:

Men, winner, Evgenij Pop Acev (MKD);

Women, winner, Pilar Geijo (ITA);

Trophy “Giulio Travaglio”, best Italian, Gabriele Mento (ITA);

Trophy “CAG Chemical”, the best technical swimmer, Edoardo Stichino (ITA);

Trophy “Filippo Calvino” best under 25 Marcel Schouten (NED).

And with the final victory of the FINA Grand Prix in 2016 by Tomi Stefanovski (MKD) and  Edoardo Stochino (ITA) and Kozydub Olga (RUS).

A fantastic edition in memory of Giulio Travaglio, which ends with the photo exhibition: “Travaglio, King of the Capri-Napoli” whose vernissage there was, again today, at the Renaissance Hotel Mediterraneo Naples, where there are exposed 18 photos that tell the exploits of the Neapolitan champion and which will remain open until September 20.

September 3, 2016: it was held this morning at Baia the CAG Chemical sprint race that this year was also valid as the 1st memorial “Giulio Travaglio”.

The race has leading swimmers who will swim tomorrow the Capri-Napoli.

Emotion at the start, in the waters where he moved his first strokes Giulio Travaglio.

In the end they won the competition: Marcel Schouten ( Ned ) e Olga Kozydub ( Rus ).
