August 14, 2016: After the race in Lac St. Jean in late July, the World Cup 2016, over the distance of 10 km, makes a stop, yestaerday always in Canada, Lac Megantic.

Rio 2016
August 13, 2016: approaching the Olympic competition of the open water swimming with the race over the distance of 10 km men and women.
Monday, August 15, at 9 am in Rio, will start the women. While, Tuesday, August 16, again at 9 am in Rio, will be the turn of the men.
In total there will be 50 athletes, 25 men and 25 women.
Among them stand out the names of Vitaliy Khudyakov (KAZ) and Ana Marcela Cunha (BRA) winners, with records, at the Capri-Napoli on 2014, and that still holds the competition record.

August 11, 2016: presented the official image of the 2016 Capri-Napoli with the pay-off: “great athletes for a great challenge”, which is well suited to the appointment of the final FINA world grand prix with the presence of the best athletes of the circuit for a great and difficult challenge as the Capri-Napoli.
A unique competition, including 2 magnificent location, close but separated by a sea of 36 km that tests even the best swimmers.
Starting list 2016
August 9, 2016: defined the starting list for the 2016 edition, whose names will be announced in the coming days.
Altogether there will be 28 athletes from 13 nations.
The nations present: Italy, Argentina, Brazil, Croatia, Ecuador, France, Germany, Macedonia, Netherlands, Rep. Reca, Russia, Syria, Venezuela.
For the men’s competition, there will be in the race 16 athletes from 9 countries: Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, France, Germany, Italy, Macedonia, the Netherlands and Syria.
For the women’s competition, however, there will be in the race 12 athletes from 6 countries: Argentina, Croatia, Italy, Czech Rep., Russia and Venezuela.

51st edition
4 August 2016: still a month and it will be Capri-Napoli time with the 51st edition entitled to Giulio Travaglio.
Getting ready for the many initiatives scheduled to celebrate the Neapolitan champion Travaglio.
In late August, the event presentation press conference that will unveil the full program.
Meanwhile a commission is working to define the starting list in 2016 for the final leg of the FINA Grand Prix that, before Naples, will visit on 20 August Ohrid in Macedonia.
In Naples there will be present all the big swimmers of the circuit, hoping for a close race until the last stroke, such as last year with victory in the sprint for the Argentine Damian Blaum.
1st Leg 2016 FINA Grand Prix
July 31, 2016: After canceling the race in Argentina Santa Fe-Coronda, in February, due to the bad weather conditions, has also started the FINA Grand Prix in 2016 with the first traditional race in Canada in Lac St. Jean over the distance of 32 km, held yesterday.

4th Leg 2016 FINA World Cup
July 29, 2016: After the race in Balaton (HUN) World Cup 2016, on the distance of 10 km, makes a stop in Lac St. Jean (CAN), held yesterday.

Fifth stage on August 13 at Megantic (CAN), before the Olympic race in Rio on 15 and 16 August.
Meanwhile, also in Lac St. Jean, Saturday, July 30 will be held, over the distance of 32 km, the first leg of the FINA World Grand Prix, the circuit that includes the long and traditional marathons that will end on September 4 with the race Capri- Naples.

Deadline final entry form
July 20, 2016: there, now, a few days to send the final entry forms to define the starting list of the 51 th edition of the Capri-Napoli, valid as the final leg of the FINA Grand Prix, scheduled for Sunday, September 4th.
The deadline is fixed on July 31.
