Presented the race at Baia
7 July 2016: in the beautiful setting of Villa Ferretti in Baia was presented the unofficial race, which will be staged on Saturday, July 9th. For the first time the Capri-Napoli will finish to Baia, in memory of Giulio Travaglio.
The meeting was also a time to remember heard in his place and among his own people, Giulio and his career, among many others, the 5 victories at the Capri-Napoli. And the Organizing Committee also wanted to deliver a plaque to the family of Julius.
Saturday’s race will see the participation of 55 athletes from 9 countries and 3 continents divided into 3 categories: SOLO, DUO and RELAYS.
Start from Capri, Marina Grande, Lido Le Ondine at 9.

4 July 2016: few days again for the first 2016 Capri-Napoli.
Records of participant swimmers, first arrival at Baia and a fitting and heartfelt tribute to the champion Giulio Travaglio.
These are the prerogatives of the unofficial Capri-Napoli, scheduled for Saturday, July 9, starting from “lido Le Ondine” at Capri and arrival to the beach at Baia.
A special edition that will be presented during an official conference Wednesday, July 6 at 17.45 at Villa Ferretti in Baia-Bacoli (via Castello 14). A presentation that will also be a moment to remember Giulio Travaglio (winner of five editions of the Capri-Napoli Marathon) in the presence of family members of the swimming champion who died last October at the age of 71 years.
Capri-Napoli 2016 – non FINA competition
June 28, 2016: preparations are underway for the first crossing of Capri-Naples, that, in 2016, arrives at the 51 edition. The non-competitive race is scheduled in 10 days, Saturday, July 9 and will see the start 56 athletes from 9 countries and 3 continents.
The competition will start from Marina Grande in Capri, the historic location of Le Ondine, at 9 am. New, for this competition, will be the arrival in Baia to remind the champion Giulio Travaglio, native of this cute village of Bacoli.
In program many initiatives related to Giulio Travaglio starting from July at Baia and will conclude with the official competition scheduled on September 4.

June 20, 2016: the race Capri-Napoli reminds Giulio Travaglio, the Neapolitan champion, only Italian winner (five his victories) of the marathon Capri-Napoli. The 51st edition of the most important and best known open water swimming competition (FINA Grand Prix leg) will be dedicated to the athlete from Bacoli who passed away last year. A tribute to Giulio Travaglio, who popularized the race around the world, the non-competitive test on Saturday July 9 will arrive at Baia, in the waters close his house and where Giulio trained for so many years.
