2015 Capri-Napoli opening event
April 16, 2015: this morning event at the pool “Scandone” Naples has opened the 50th edition of the Capri-Napoli.
The solidarity event ”Aspettando la Capri-Napoli 2015″, now in its 6th edition, produced in collaboration with the Association no pofit “Accendiamo una stella for you”, was attended by about 100 children.
The initiative involved, among others, some children who have social and emotional problems, some of which have approached for the first time to swimming, remaining impressed with scenes of great enthusiasm in water.
Crucial support of the FIN swimming regional Committee and friendly contribution by FIN Federal Center Technicians.
The appointment will be repeated again, next week, in Pozzuoli at the pool Sporting Club Flegreo.
“Aspettando la Capri-Napoli” 2015
April 15, 2015: Boys in the pool for a celebration of sport and solidarity. This is the meaning of the sixth edition of “Aspettando la Capri-Napoli” (Waiting for the marathon swimming Capri-Napoli) scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, April 16, at pool “Scandone” of Naples from 9.30 am to 12.00 pm.
The appointment will be the opening event of the festival for 2015, which, with the official race scheduled September 6, will celebrate the 50th edition.
Patronage USSI
April 7, 2015: With the approach of the official race, scheduled for September 6, will also begin to define the institutional partnerships for the 2015 edition.
The USSI (Italian Sports Press Union) – Gruppo Campano “Felice Scandone”, in the person of President Mario Zaccaria grants the patronage to the historical race Capri-Napoli.
A further important and prestigious patronage, then, for the historic 50th edition of the Capri-Napoli.
2nd Leg 2015 FINA World Cup
March 13, 2015: second leg of the FINA World Cup in 2015 over the distance of 10 km, held today in Abu Dhabi (UAE).

New partnership
March 12, 2015: a little more than six months from the ’50th edition of the Capri-Napoli Marathon, O.C. is designing important news for the event.
For 2015 is realized a prestigious partnership with the Renaissance Naples Hotel Mediterraneo.
At this important location in the heart of Naples, in September, O.C. will realize some of the official events of the historic event.
A photo exhibition to present the Marathon to the city, past and present: September 3 to 30, the location will be open to the public of enthusiasts, tourists and visitors, in the lobby of the Renaissance Naples Hotel Mediterraneo. The exhibition will gather about 30 photographs and other memorabilia that tell one of the oldest sporting events and expectations held in the city. Among the areas the cozy bar and panoramic roof will be a succession of events: September 3 starts with the vernissage of the exhibition, with the participation of athletes and delegations and then September 7 the Roof Garden Terrace Angiò will host the award ceremony with the press, institutions, and of course sports participants.
The agreement with the event, provides preferential rates for those who decide to stay at the Renaissance Naples Hotel Mediterraneo is at the official race in September, and for the non-competitive in July.
2015 Non competitive Capri-Napoli
March 4, 2015: Last February 28, was the deadline for submissions of Capri-Napoli uncompetitive 2015, scheduled on July 4th.
The competition will be one of the events celebrating the 50 editions, whose official race, which this year will close the FINA World Grand Prix, is scehduled on September 6th.
Also for the 2015 amateur edition a great success and lots of requests received.
For SOLO category: 10 swimmers were selected.
As for the category RELAYS were accepted well 8.
A total of 50 athletes will take to the water from 14 countries of 4 continents:
AUS; AUT; BRA; CZE; ESP; FRA; GER; ITA; MDA; RUS; SAF; SWE; UK; USA.
In the coming days, all the details about the participants accepted.
Santa Fé-Coronda 2015
February 2, 2015: Yesterday it staged the 42nd edition of the traditional Marathon Santa Fé-Coronda (ARG) this year is not included in the calendar of the FINA Grand Prix.
The race saw 18 swimmers at the start of which 13 men and 5 women from 4 countries (Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Spain).
After about two hours, the competition was interrupted by the Naval Prefecture due to bad weather, which saw very near a rising storm.
Until then the top positions were: Villagoiz (ARG), Biagioli (ARG), Bertola (ARG).

2015 FINA OWS series
February 2, 2015: starting next weekend in Argentina the 2015 FINA OWS world series.
Saturday 7 begins with the World Cup on 10 km, the first stage of which will be held in Viedma.
Sunday 8, however, the Grand Prix will start with the novelty of Villa Urquiza-Parana on the distance of 25 km, the race takes the place of Hernandarias-Parana that, until last year, was achieved on the incredible distance of 88 km.
2015 FINA Grand Prix will end in September in Italy with the 50th edition of the Capri-Napoli.
