May 19, 2017: Capri-Napoli 2017 is arriving!
Let’s get to know the competitors who will fall into the water for the non-competitive tests of the Capri-Napoli 2017 scheduled on June 30 and July 14. The official race, however, that closes the FINA Grand Prix 2017 is scheduled on 3rd September.

Capri-Napoli ’17 – Guinness Marathon – 115K
May 12, 2017: Also this year reached guinness goal!!
Great enthusiasm in the pool for the opening solidarity event of Capri-Napoli 2017: children swim for children, with lots of sport and show business friends present to support the project.
But especially big party for helping to raise money for underprivileged children who, thanks to the Association “Accendiamo una stella for you” will have the opportunity to have sport for free for for the 2017/2018 season.
About 700 children in the water for a total of 2.300 tanks made, for a total of almost 115 Km. Far beyond, therefore, the 108 km that had to be swum as triple distance of the world competition, whose official race is scheduled for September 3, while the non-competitive races will take place on June 30 and July 14.
Drawings competition winners have also been selected for the realization of a drawing in which they were represented and characteristic elements of sea, sport and Naples.
All winners of guinness and the drawing contest will be awarded to the arrival of Capri-Napoli in September, the final leg of the FINA world grand prix.
Guinness marathon 2017
May 11, 2017: Tomorrow May 12, from 9.30 to 12.30 will be made the 6th edition of the Guinness Marathon.
The joint opening event of the Capri-Napoli in Naples will be realized, at the pool “Scandone”.
The event is open to Neapolitan school and swimming school children.
The children and young people take to the pool and swim, everyone, at least 50 meters, swimming up to a total of 2,160 tanks, for a total of 108 km, the triple of the distance of the Capri-Napoli, the 36-kilometer swim, the swimmers from around the world will swim in September.
In water and present in the pool there will be many sports friends and from the entertainment world.
For this edition, for the third time, to pay tribute to the fiftytwo editions of the Capri-Napoli, the participants, as well as compete for the guinness in water, was also asked to participate in another interesting initiative: a contest for the realization of a drawing in which they were represented and characteristic elements of the sea, sport and Naples.
2017 Capri-Napoli opening event
April 7, 2017: With the morning’s event at the pool “Scandone” of Naples, has opened the 52th edition of the Capri-Napoli, scheduled on 3rd September.
The solidarity event “Aspettando la Capri-Napoli 2017″, now in its 8th edition, produced in collaboration with the non-profit Association “Accendiamo una stella for you”, was attended by about 100 children.
The initiative involved, among others, some children who have social problems, emotional and cultural, some of whom have approached for the first time to swimming, remaining impressed with great enthusiasm scenes in water.
Next meeting, the sixth edition of “Guinness Marathon children swim for children” on 12 May.
Aspettando la Capri-Napoli 2017
April 5, 2017: One hundred children in the water to match the feats of the giants of the sea. Back to Friday, April 7 at pool of Naples “Aspettando la maratona Capri-Napoli”, the traditional preview of the swim leg of the FINA Eworld Grand Prix this year scheduled for September 3. Organized by the Capri-Napoli promoters. The event will be attended by delegations students, which will dive into the water to spend a few hours of fun related to the sport, with the aid of swimmers and federal technicians.”As always – say the promoters – the goal is to make an important moment of solidarity gathering, an occasion of rapprochement of the children involved in the world of sports, especially for those children less fortunate.
2nd Leg 2017 FINA World Cup
February 11, 2017: Second leg of FINA the World Cup 2017, over the distance of 10 km, held today in Abu Dhabi (UAE).

Unofficial competition 2017
March 1, 2017: ready the starting lists of the 2 unofficial capri-napoli scheduled on June 30 and July 14.
As it has happened in previous editions, great enthusiasm and so many requests received.
A total of 52 athletes will be in the water, representing 7 countries (ARG, AUS, BRA, FRA, ITA, MEX, USA), from 3 continents, with athletes at the start that they will have an age between 13 and 57 years!
For SOLO competitions at the start 10 athletes: 5 men and 5 women.
For RELAYS competitions, however, at the start 42 athletes divided into eight teams: each one of 4, 5 or 6 members.
In the coming months we will know all the swimmers and news about this 52 th edition, with the official race, valid as the final leg of the FINA Grand Prix, scheduled for Sunday, September 3rd!!

February 5, 2017: with the race in Argentina: Santa Fe-Coronda has also started the FINA Grand Prix in 2017 with the first traditional marathon over the distance of 57 km.
