Italian Championships 10 Km
June 12, 2016: took place in the day, the Italian championships on the Olympic distance of 10 km. The competition which was held in Omegna lake was also valid as the qualification test for the European Championships to be held in Hoorn, Netherlands from July 10 to 14.

June 10, 2016: took place this morning in Omegna lake, the test 5 km time trial, valid as Italian championships and also valid as qualification for the European Championships will be held July (10-14) in Hoorn (Netherland).

Capri-Napoli drawing contest
May 25, 2016: Here are the winning drawings of the second edition of the drawing contest, reserved for children of the schools of Naples (6-15 years old): ”Sea, Sports, Naples”, combined with the Guinness Marathon Swim Children for Children and the race Capri-Napoli 2016.
The award ceremony will take place Sunday, September 4, 2016 on the occasion of the arrival of Capri Napoli Marathon 51 edition!
Capri-Napoli ’16 – Guinness Marathon – 72K
May 13, 2016: Also this year reached guinness goal!!
Great enthusiasm in the pool for the opening solidarity event of Capri-Napoli 2016: children swim for children, with lots of sport and show business friends present to support the project.
But especially big party for helping to raise money for underprivileged children who, thanks to the Association “Accendiamo una stella for you” will have the opportunity to have sport for free for for the 2016/2017 season.
About 700 children in the water for a total of 1.627 tanks made, for a total of almost 81 Km. Far beyond, therefore, the 72 km that had to be swum as twice the distance of the world competition, whose official race is scheduled for September 4, while the non-competitive race will take place on July 9.
Drawings competition winners have also been selected for the realization of a drawing in which they were represented and characteristic elements of sea, sport and Naples.
All winners of guinness and the drawing contest will be awarded to the arrival of Capri-Napoli in September, the final leg of the FINA world grand prix.
Guinness marathon 2016
May 12, 2016: Tomorrow May 13, from 9 to 12 will be made the 5th edition of the Guinness Marathon.
The joint opening event of the Capri-Napoli in Naples will be realized, at the pool “Scandone”.
The event is open to Neapolitan school and swimming school children.
The children and young people take to the pool and swim, everyone, at least 50 meters, swimming up to a total of 1,440 tanks, for a total of 72 km, twice the distance of the Capri-Napoli, the 36-kilometer swim, the swimmers from around the world will swim in September.
In water and present in the pool there will be many sports friends and from the entertainment world.
For this edition, for the second time, to pay tribute to the fiftyone editions of the Capri-Napoli, the participants, as well as compete for the guinness in water, was also asked to participate in another interesting initiative: a contest for the realization of a drawing in which they were represented and characteristic elements of the sea, sport and Naples.

2016 Capri-Napoli opening event
April 15, 2016: With the morning’s event at the pool “Scandone” of Naples, has opened the 51st edition of the Capri-Napoli, celebrating Giulio Travaglio, only Italian winner of the competition, who holds the record of victories, well 5 , obtained between 1965 and 1970!
The solidarity event “Aspettando la Capri-Napoli 2016″, now in its 7th edition, produced in collaboration with the non-profit Association “Accendiamo una stella for you”, was attended by about 100 children.
The initiative involved, among others, some children who have social problems, emotional and cultural, some of whom have approached for the first time to swimming, remaining impressed with great enthusiasm scenes in water.
Next meeting, the fifth edition of “Guinness Marathon children swim for children” on 13 May.
Aspettando la Capri-Napoli 2016
April 13, 2016: Boys and girls in the pool for a celebration of sport and solidarity. This is the meaning of the seventh edition of “Aspettando la Capri-Napoli” (Waiting the marathon swimming Capri-Napoli) scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, April 15, at pool “Scandone” of Naples from 9.30 am to 12.00 pm, with the participation of 100 special children.
